Chipotle is bringing back its $6 Boorito deal for Halloween, but ordering through the app or requesting delivery won’t get you the discount. On Saturday, October 31, Rewards members who show up in costume at a participating U.S. restaurant after 3 p.m. local time can buy one qualifying entrée for $6. The offer runs until that restaurant closes.
It is a timely promotion for customers watching what they spend on fast-casual meals. Some Chipotle diners have recently questioned extra charges for salsa and sour cream, although their experiences have differed by location. The Halloween offer comes with its own rules about additions and extras.

How to get the $6 Halloween entrée
First, customers must be Chipotle Rewards members. Then they need to wear a costume, visit a participating restaurant in person after 3 p.m. on October 31 and scan their Rewards member card at checkout. The $6 price applies to one eligible entrée per costumed guest, subject to availability.
There is no specific costume theme to follow, but Chipotle says the restaurant determines whether a guest is in costume. Simply having the app or being a Rewards member is not enough: the in-person costume requirement is part of the promotion.
Chipotle has offered versions of Boorito for more than 25 years, but the rules have changed from year to year. This version applies at participating U.S. locations, not international restaurants, and only during the announced Halloween window.
What the $6 price does not cover
There are several important exclusions. The deal cannot be used for quesadillas, kids’ meals or catering. It also cannot be redeemed through the mobile app, website, delivery or other online ordering methods.
Premium additions still cost extra. That includes queso, extra meat and guacamole, except for guacamole included with a veggie entrée. Taxes, sides and other optional additions are not included in the $6 price.
The Halloween discount generally cannot be stacked with other promotions, although customers can earn Chipotle Rewards points on the eligible entrée they purchase. Checking the order before paying will help avoid surprises.
A separate delivery offer follows on November 1
Chipotle is also advertising $0 delivery fees on November 1 for qualifying orders placed through its own app or website. The minimum order is $10 before taxes and fees, and the promotion is limited to participating U.S. locations within their delivery areas.
That does not make every delivery completely free. Chipotle says delivery menu prices are higher, and other fees may apply. Orders placed through third-party delivery services do not qualify, and catering orders are excluded.
Why Chipotle keeps bringing back Boorito
The promotion began in 2000 as a burrito-themed costume contest and gradually became a Halloween tradition. It moved online in 2020, when Chipotle offered digital buy-one-get-one codes, but the 2026 version brings the action back into restaurants.
The chain has also revived its margaritas at limited October pop-ups in five cities, including Los Angeles and New Orleans. Those separate $6 drink events should not be mistaken for a nationwide return of alcoholic beverages to Chipotle’s regular menu.
For the full eligibility details, Chipotle has published the 2026 Boorito terms and conditions. The key date for the entrée deal is October 31, not today, and the simplest way to qualify is to arrive in costume with a Rewards account ready to scan.
