Red Lobster

Say “Red Lobster” and the first response is never about the seafood.
It’s “Oh gosh, those cheesy biscuits!”
The Cheddar Bay Biscuits are hard to beat and popular enough to be sold frozen at supermarkets.

Panera Bread

Panera has so many bread options, it’s hard to choose!
The sandwich bread includes French baguette loaf, country rustic sourdough, tomato basil bread, black pepper focaccia, artisan ciabatta loaf, and classic white miche.
Then there’s the sourdough bread bowl.
And, of course, all sorts of bagels!
That’s a heck of a lot more bread than a simple breadstick…

Outback

Outback’s steaks are fine but their bread and salad are what stand out to me as exceptional.
If you’re wondering, the bread isn’t pumpernickel or rye (though it looks like them). It’s a dark honey wheat bread.

Corner Bakery

The cornerstone of a great sandwich is the bread, of course.
And Corner Bakery is known for it.
Options include soudough, harvest bread, ciabatta, and a baguette among others.

Au Bon Pain

Its name literally means “from good bread.”
While there are certainly lots of choices here, you have to go with the six croissant options.
Plain is the way to start, but any of the savory or sweet options will do you well!

Olive Garden

We couldn’t leave without giving a shout-out to the bread that started this discussion – the mightly Olive Garden breadstick.
They’re tasty, they’re plentiful, and as a bonus, they’re vegan friendly!
What do you think? Does Olive Garden have the best bread or is it my favorite, Outback’s bread? Let us know in the comments section.
