Georgia’s having a rough go of it.
First there was the big collapse in manufacturing – with several factories closing…
And now Georgia farms are getting some really bad news.

The Trump administration has ended the Local Food Purchase Assistance program (or LFPA for short), which was designed to help poor children afford fresh, healthy food from farms. It’s a win-win – low income children eat healthier, farms get more customers.
LFPA still had $6.9 million to spend in Georgia, but it looks like that money is gone.
Which is a shame – farmers are already suffering from the negative impacts of tariffs and the slowing economy – they really didn’t need another kick in the teeth.
What’s your take? Is this a wise program to eliminate? Let us know either way with a comment!
