Buc-ee’s is known for its massive Walmart-sized travel centers, including 100 or more pumps.
Traditionally, you only get to them on road trips, if you live in Texas, or if you happen to live near one outside of Texas.
But now there’s a Buc-ee’s that’s not a travel center.
Kind of.

Texas A&M has the honor of being the only physical place you can go to get Buc-ee’s snacks and merch without going to a Buc-ee’s travel center.
Three of its campus stores will carry more than 45 Buc-ee’s items:
- Aggie Express Commons
- Aggie Express Hullabaloo
- Creekside Market
OK, it’s not technically a Buc-ee’s and doesn’t have barbecue or any of the prepared items, but you can get your fix of Beaver Nuggets and stuffies of everyone’s favorite beaver.
You may be wondering “Why?” Texas makes sense since it’s the birthplace of Buc-ee’s and has by far the most locations of any state.
But why Texas A&M?
The reason is simple: it’s the alma mater of Arch “Beaver” Aplin III, the founder of Buc-ee’s. He’s a proud Aggie and large benefactor of the university.
So, yes, now you can get Buc-ee’s stuff at a store that’s not a Buc-ee’s. But unless Aplin goes back to school somewhere else, don’t expect more of these!
