The biggest differences between high-protein nut butter and Nutella are their flavors and (sometimes) textures.

High-protein nut butter can have added oils and preservatives in it, or it can be a more natural variety. If it’s more natural without those additives, put it in the fridge to prevent oil separation and to stop it from going rancid too soon! Otherwise, ones with preservatives that are more shelf-stable can be stored in the pantry. Nut butters generally last 2-3 months after opening.
Nutella is totally fine at room temperature, and lasts up to 12 months after opening. If you want to thicken the texture, just toss it into the fridge for a while!

However, looking at all the facts, high-protein nut butter is better for the fact that it’s lower in sugar, higher in protein, and more versatile for finding the taste you want.
