Intro

Three Michelin stars is the absolute highest honor a chef and a restaurant can receive.
There are 100 items on our bucket list, 50 states, but only 14 current three-star restaurants in the U.S.
Here they are, complete with where they’re located, the head chef, and the type of cuisine.

So as you can see…

These 14 restaurants, understandably, are concentrated in a handful of metropolitan areas:
– NYC
– Washington, DC
– San Francisco
– LA
– Chicago
– San Diego
(Admittedly, some are a little further out – the Inn at Little Washington is an hour away from Washington, DC, and the French Laundry is in Napa Valley north of San Francisco – but you get the idea.)
Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing a Texan restaurant get up on the leaderboard!
Which brings me to an important question…

What about you?

How many of these have you been to?
(My current count is zero. I know I can do better than that!)
