Taco Bell plans to serve a boozy version of Mountain Dew Baja Blast from a shipping container on the Las Vegas Strip. The chain says a standalone Live Más Café will open later this fall beside its existing Las Vegas Cantina, offering drinks that won’t be available at ordinary Taco Bell restaurants nationwide.
The Nevada project is part of a bigger beverage expansion built around new flavors, including horchata, the sweet, cinnamon-spiced drink that has inspired homemade keto-friendly versions. Four new horchata-inspired drinks debuted at Live Más Cafés this month, with three beverages planned for a wider rollout in December.

A shipping container with a cocktail menu
The new café is planned for a shipping container adjacent to the Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina at 3717 South Las Vegas Boulevard. Taco Bell is developing the location with franchise partner Diversified Restaurant Group, giving the busy Strip a specialty-drink destination separate from a traditional drive-thru.
The company says the café will offer more than 20 specialty beverages, including Vegas-exclusive spiked creations. Among the announced names are Boozy Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Strawberry Passionfruit Refresca Rush and Cold Brew Cinnatini. Exclusive Taco Bell merchandise is also planned for the location.
There is no confirmed opening day beyond the company’s stated goal of later this fall. Taco Bell also hasn’t announced prices or exact ingredients for the new alcoholic drinks, so the announcement is not a menu customers can order from today.
Four new drinks are already on café menus
At existing Live Más Café locations, four horchata-inspired beverages were introduced October 15: Purple Horchata Chiller, Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float, Strawberry Horchata Refresca and Vanilla Spiced Horchata Refresca.
The purple Chiller blends a vanilla ice cream base with horchata syrup and whipped cream. The Cold Brew Float adds coffee, churro crumbles and chocolate syrup. The two Refrescas take a lighter, iced approach, with one using strawberry syrup and freeze-dried strawberries.
Advertised café prices range from $4.19 for a small Purple Horchata Chiller to $5.29 for a medium Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float. Prices and availability vary by participating location.
Three horchata drinks are headed nationwide
Starting December 10, Taco Bell plans to bring the Strawberry Horchata Refresca and Vanilla Spiced Horchata Refresca to participating restaurants nationwide for a limited time. A new Vanilla Spiced Horchata Freeze is scheduled to join them.
That doesn’t mean all four current café drinks are going national. The Purple Horchata Chiller and Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float have not been announced for the broader restaurant menu.
Indiana and California are next
Taco Bell said it had 39 Live Más Cafés as of October 15. A new location in West Lafayette, Indiana, is scheduled to celebrate its grand opening October 22, with additional cafés planned for Greenfield and Muncie before the end of 2026.
Southern California is also due for more locations, including Century City Mall, Irvine and Tustin. These openings are part of the chain’s effort to test specialty beverages before deciding which flavors might appeal to a wider audience.
For Baja Blast fans, the Vegas cocktail is the unusual attraction. For everyone else, the December horchata rollout is the more accessible change. Taco Bell outlined the openings, drink lineup and dates in its October 15 announcement.
