Florida’s White Castle footprint is getting bigger, and this time Daytona Beach is the target.
The chain has started construction on a new Daytona Beach restaurant, adding to a state where White Castle has already established a growing presence with locations in Orlando, Clermont and Kissimmee.
For East Coast fans in Volusia County, the new restaurant could make a White Castle run a lot easier.

Where the new location is planned
The Daytona Beach White Castle is planned for 1944 LPGA Boulevard, according to the company.
That location puts it near one of the city’s well-traveled corridors, with obvious appeal for locals, beach visitors, race fans and travelers moving through the area.
White Castle has said the Daytona Beach restaurant will use its modern “neighborhood” design, a newer prototype meant to feel more connected to the surrounding community than a standard fast-food box. Plans call for indoor seating, outdoor seating and a double drive-thru with two lanes.
When it could open
The latest company announcement says the grand opening is forecasted for late fall 2026.
That is a shift from earlier reporting that pointed to a late-summer 2026 target when the lease was first announced in August 2025, so readers should treat late fall as the current timeline following the May 2026 groundbreaking announcement.
For now, the biggest practical detail is that construction is underway, meaning this is more than a vague “coming soon” announcement.
Why Florida fans care
White Castle’s Florida expansion has been a big deal for slider loyalists. The Orlando-area flagship — the largest White Castle in the world — drew huge attention when it opened in 2021, especially from transplants who grew up near White Castle restaurants in other states. Locations in Clermont and Kissimmee have since followed.
Daytona Beach gives the chain another Florida market with heavy tourism, event traffic and plenty of late-night food demand, and will become its fourth freestanding location in the state.
It also adds a familiar national brand to a corridor that already sees a lot of out-of-town visitors.
What it means for Daytona Beach
The new restaurant is likely to generate attention when it opens, especially if fans treat it like past White Castle openings and show up early. When it opens, the location is expected to create more than 70 jobs for local residents.
But the longer-term question is whether the location becomes a regular stop for Daytona Beach residents, not just a curiosity for visitors.
With construction now underway, Florida slider fans have a clearer answer than before: White Castle is not just teasing Daytona Beach. It is building there.
