Thursday September 4th is going to be a wonderful day for Chick-fil-A fans across the United States!
Six different Chick-fil-A’s will be opening their doors for the first time.
Something that makes Chick-fil-A feel so mom-and-pop wonderful is that unlike, say, McDonald’s, which uses large franchisee systems, Chick-fil-A’s generally limits their owner-operator to one store to start and only a few locations for proven owner-operators.
Also, Chick-fil-A gives $25,000 to Feeding America each time it opens a new store.
So it’s extra-exciting when a new store opens…
#1 Forest Hills, New York
The owner-operator is Jonathan Dickson. It’ll be his second location alongside the Queens Center Mall Chick-fil-A.
The exact address is: 106-20 Continental Avenue and the hours will be 6:30AM – 10PM Monday through Saturday.
#2 Meridian, Mississippi
Another two-time owner/operator, Brian Russell started as a Team Member at a Chick-fil-A over thirty years ago in 1994.
His first location is at Meridian Crossroads and this one will be at 2300 Court House Boulevard. Operating hours will be 6AM – 9PM Monday through Saturday.
#3 Pasadena, Maryland
Chris Schenck is the owner operator of the Chick-fil-A Jacobsville location in Pasadena, which is actually his third location. The first two are at Severna Park and on the Anne Arundel Community College campus.
It’s at 4015 Mountain Road and will operate from 6:30AM to 10PM Monday through Saturday.
#4 Naperville, Illinois
Mark Cabrera will have his second Chick-Fil-A in the Chicago area. The first is the Fox Valley Center location.
This Naperville location is at 3320 S. Illinois Route 59 and will be open from 6:30AM to 10PM from Monday through Saturday.
#5 Magnolia, Texas
After years in Austin, Texas as a Chick-fil-A team member, Matt Williams will be returning to the Houston area (where he grew up) to become the owner-operator of the new Magnolia location. It’ll be his first time in that role.
The store is located at 13950 FM 1488 and is the Magnolia at Heritage Farms location. It’ll be open from 6AM to 10PM Monday through Saturday.
#6 Sherrills Ford, North Carolina
The owner-operator of the Sherrills Ford Chick-fil-A was the owner-operator who opened the very first Chick-fil-A restaurant outside the United States. It was the Yonge and Bloor location in Canada. Now he’s returning to North Carolina to be closer to family.
The Sherills Ford location will be at 7890 Bradley Long Drive. It’ll be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30AM to 10PM.
