Intro

If you love Valentine’s Day, love good food, and love showing your significant other a good time…these deals are a good place to start.
Not only will they save you a few dollars in most cases…but they’re a sign that the restaurant is trying to do something special, meaning they’ll probably take good care of the ambience as well.
I’ve included a mix of options – takeout pizza, nicer sit-down chain, and everything in between.
Starting with one of my personal favorites…

#1: Outback Steakhouse

The deal: 4-course meal for two, starting at $30 a person.
When available: From February 10th to February 16th – so you don’t have to go on Valentine’s Day

Outback details

I was able to find one sample menu, your mileage may vary at different Outback Steakhouses:
First course: Grilled shrimp on the barbie (shared appetizer)
Second course: Two signature side salads (Caesar or house salad)
Third course: Choose two entrees (center-cut sirloin, salmon, Alice Springs chicken, or Victoria’s filet mignons). Each entree is served with one side. (Not their usual two.)
Fourth course: Cheesecake (raspberry or chocolate sauce, shared dessert)

#2: Carrabba’s

The deal: 4-course meal for two, starting at $65 inclusive.
When available: From February 6th to February 16th – so you can go as soon as tomorrow.

Details on Carrabba’s deal

Carrabba’s hasn’t released their full menu yet, but we know it’s similar to Outback’s – a shared appetizer, soup or salad for each person, one main course each, and then a shared dessert.
Last year’s menu had these appetizer options:
– Shrimp scampi
– Calamari
– Tomato caprese with burrata
Second course:
– House Caesar, Italian, or parmesan salad
– Sicilian chicken soup or soup of the day

Details (continued…)

– Chicken bryan, marsala, or parmesan (+1 side)

– 7oz sirloin (or 9-oz with a $9 upcharge, in all cases (+2 sides)

#3: Papa John’s

The deal: Heart-shaped pizza for $11.99. (Not really much of a deal, but a heart-shaped pizza is kind of cool!)
When available: From February 10th to February 16th

#4: California Pizza Kitchen

The deal: Prix fixe menu for $55 inclusive. Unlike Outback and Carrabba’s, there’s no salad or soup course – just three courses (one starter, two entrees, and one dessert), but it is a few dollars cheaper.
When available: From February 10th to February 16th
