If you’re looking for more ways to incorporate apple cider vinegar into your daily routine (and shouldn’t we all?) – then have I got a treat for you.
This apple cider vinegar tea is an easy, delicious, wonderful way to bring in all of apple cider vinegar’s goodness and combine it with the warmth and comfort of a hot drink.
Now, when it comes to teas, I’m going to say I love them all. Give me a hot mug of Earl Grey (with or without the caffeine), some peach tea, Lapsang tea, Darjeeling, Matcha, or ginger lemon tea.
They’re all individual, and they all bring their own flavor profile to the mug or glass.
Some are floral.
Some a titch smoky.
Some are downright intriguing.
And they’re all aromatic.
So, while I can’t call myself a tea connoisseur, I can proudly call myself a tea enthusiast.
But, you don’t need to cast your eyes in the grocery store aisle to make your own tea.
Just grab your favorite apple cider vinegar, a good squeeze of lemon, and some hot water and, bam!
You’ve got yourself a hot mug of pure refreshing joy!
Apple cider vinegar tea ingredients and substitutions
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon agave
If you don’t have lemon juice on hand, let me suggest a few alternatives. For one, fresh berries that are lightly muddled would be amazing in this tea. I think that raspberries, or blueberries would really be incredibly delicious!
Also, since this recipe is naturally vegan (no animal products) and should be compatible with most any diets, it should be easy to adapt for just about anyone in your life!
Apple Cider Vinegar Tea Instructions:
You don’t need to boil your tea water for this recipe. In fact, the perfect temperature would be around 90 degrees. The reason is that even though apple cider vinegar packs a bit of a punch, full-on boiling water might wash out the wonderful flavor.
- Place all of the ingredients in a large mug, and stir well to combine.
- Enjoy!
