Old Town Tortilla Factory closes
Old Town Tortilla Factory announced on July 31, 2026, that it had decided to close after serving the Scottsdale community for three decades. The restaurant’s announcement thanked customers for their patronage and described the closure as “an end of an era.”
Old Town Tortilla Factory served Southwestern cuisine with a Mexican twist. Its menu and bar offerings helped make it a longtime destination for both locals and visitors, while the restaurant also hosted celebrations, private events, and large gatherings.
A longtime Old Town destination
The restaurant’s distinctive setting was an important part of its identity. Its 1,400-square-foot flagstone patio was surrounded by greenery and shaded by approximately 100-year-old pecan trees. The restaurant also featured a bar with an extensive tequila selection.
