Intro — America loves beer – in fact, the #1 beer-drinking state in America, New Hampshire, reports beer consumption equal to nearly 400 beers per adult!

Which is, like, more than a beer a day.

So yeah, we drink a lot of beer – but which beers do we drink?

And I should note – this is overall favorite beer brand by state; I’ve broken out light beer separately in another article.

America’s overall favorite beer

America's overall favorite beer — But first, let’s talk about overall numbers.

Corona wins the pennant as America’s overall favorite beer, with 13 states favoring it over all others.

Bud Light comes in second with 10.

After that, things drop off pretty quickly: Modelo won five states, Blue Moon three, several beers 2, and even Miller and Dos Equis won a state a piece.
