For many road-trippers, Buc-ee’s is no longer just a place to stop for gas. It has become a destination of its own, known for its huge travel centers, clean bathrooms, wall of snacks, barbecue sandwiches, Beaver Nuggets and rows of fuel pumps.
But while Buc-ee’s started in Texas, the chain has been expanding quickly across the South, Midwest, Mountain West and beyond. That means more drivers are starting to wonder the same thing before a long trip: Which interstate highways actually have a Buc-ee’s?
The answer is growing, but Buc-ee’s is still concentrated along a relatively small number of major interstate corridors. Some highways have multiple Buc-ee’s locations, while others currently have just one.
Here are the interstate highways where drivers can currently find a Buc-ee’s.
Interstate 10
Interstate 10 is one of the most important Buc-ee’s corridors because it runs across the southern United States and through the chain’s home state of Texas.
Drivers can find Buc-ee’s locations along or near I-10 in Texas, Alabama and Mississippi. That includes major travel center stops such as Luling and Katy in Texas, the Loxley/Robertsdale location in Alabama, and the Pass Christian location in Mississippi.
This makes I-10 one of the best interstate routes for Buc-ee’s fans, especially for travelers crossing the Gulf Coast or driving through Texas.
Interstate 20
Interstate 20 also has Buc-ee’s representation, especially in Texas and Alabama.
In Texas, Buc-ee’s has locations tied to the I-20 corridor, including Terrell east of Dallas. In Alabama, the Leeds Buc-ee’s serves travelers near the Birmingham area.
For drivers heading across the South, I-20 is one of the better east-west routes for finding a Buc-ee’s stop.
Interstate 25
Interstate 25 became a Buc-ee’s corridor in March 2024 with the opening of the chain’s first Colorado location in Johnstown, north of the Denver metro area.
That store gives travelers a Buc-ee’s option along the busy stretch of I-25 between Denver, Fort Collins and the Wyoming line. It is the chain’s only current location in the Mountain West, making I-25 the westernmost Buc-ee’s-connected interstate until Arizona comes online.
Interstate 30
Interstate 30 has a Buc-ee’s in Royse City, Texas, east of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
That location gives travelers moving between the Dallas area and northeast Texas a Buc-ee’s option without having to detour far off the main route.
Interstate 35
Interstate 35 is one of the most Buc-ee’s-friendly highways in Texas.
The chain has multiple locations along the I-35 corridor, including New Braunfels, Denton, Fort Worth-area access, Temple-area access, and Hillsboro between Dallas and Waco.
Because I-35 connects several of Texas’ biggest travel markets, it is one of the most useful highways for Buc-ee’s fans planning a road trip through the state.
Interstate 40
Interstate 40 now has Buc-ee’s stops in more than one state.
In Texas, Buc-ee’s has a location in Amarillo on I-40. In Tennessee, the Crossville and Kodak/Sevierville-area Buc-ee’s locations serve travelers crossing the state east to west.
That makes I-40 a growing Buc-ee’s corridor for travelers heading through the Texas Panhandle or across Tennessee toward the Great Smoky Mountains.
Interstate 44
Buc-ee’s has a location in Springfield, Missouri, giving Interstate 44 travelers a major Buc-ee’s stop.
The Springfield store opened in December 2023 as the chain’s first Missouri location. For drivers moving between Oklahoma, Missouri and the Midwest, it adds a Buc-ee’s option on a busy regional route.
Interstate 45
Interstate 45 is another major Texas Buc-ee’s route.
Drivers can find Buc-ee’s along the I-45 corridor in places such as Ennis, Madisonville and Texas City. Because I-45 connects the Dallas and Houston areas, it is one of the most logical highways for the chain’s Texas footprint.
Interstate 65
Interstate 65 has Buc-ee’s locations in Alabama and Kentucky.
The Athens, Alabama location serves north Alabama travelers, while the Smiths Grove, Kentucky store gives drivers a Buc-ee’s stop north of Nashville and south of Louisville.
For travelers moving between the Midwest and the Gulf Coast, I-65 is becoming an increasingly important Buc-ee’s route.
Interstate 70
Buc-ee’s entered Ohio in April 2026 with a location in Huber Heights, giving Interstate 70 travelers a Buc-ee’s option near the Dayton area.
That Ohio opening was a major milestone because it pushed Buc-ee’s farther into the Midwest and gave the chain a presence on one of the country’s most important east-west interstate routes.
Interstate 75
Interstate 75 is one of the strongest Buc-ee’s routes outside Texas.
Travelers can find Buc-ee’s locations along the corridor in Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee. That includes stores in the Calhoun/Adairsville area of Georgia, Warner Robins-area access in Georgia, Richmond, Kentucky, and the Kodak/Sevierville-area location in Tennessee.
Because I-75 carries huge volumes of vacation traffic to and from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and the Midwest, it is a natural fit for Buc-ee’s.
Interstate 81
Virginia’s first Buc-ee’s brought the chain to the Interstate 81 corridor.
The Rockingham County location in Mount Crawford gives Shenandoah Valley travelers a Buc-ee’s stop along one of the busiest north-south trucking and travel routes in the eastern United States.
It is also important because Virginia has more Buc-ee’s projects in development, meaning I-81 may not be the state’s only Buc-ee’s-connected interstate forever.
Interstate 85
Interstate 85 has Buc-ee’s access in Alabama, including the Auburn location.
That gives drivers traveling through eastern Alabama a Buc-ee’s option on the busy route between Montgomery, Auburn and Georgia.
Interstate 95
Interstate 95 is one of the biggest wins for Buc-ee’s expansion.
Buc-ee’s has locations along or near I-95 in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. That includes St. Augustine and Daytona Beach in Florida, Brunswick in Georgia, and Florence in South Carolina.
For East Coast travelers, I-95 may be the most important Buc-ee’s route because it serves vacation traffic, beach traffic and long-distance drivers moving up and down the Atlantic coast.

That list is likely to keep changing. Buc-ee’s has continued expanding into new states, and future locations are planned or under development in places that could add even more interstate corridors to the map.
For now, though, road-trippers looking for the famous beaver sign have the best odds on major Southern and Midwestern routes, especially I-10, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-75 and I-95.
