More rough news facing Florida – after a series of painful factory closures…there’s more to come.
This time it’s the Mizkan America bottling plant at Lake Alfred, with 50+ jobs expected to disappear.

Mizkan America is probably not a name you’ve ever heard before, but it’s the conglomerate behind the Bertolli and Ragu brands.
The bottling plant is slated to close around September 19th – just a few weeks from now – and although other functions at the complex (like shipping, storage, and vinegar manufacturing) will continue, this is still a harsh blow.
It’s yet another sign that the economy is struggling – and one that’s all too personal for the people who are about to lose their livelihoods.
If you have any job leads, advice, or encouragement to share with these poor folks who are about to be laid off…please leave a comment and share!
