There isn’t anything better than a healthy homemade fruit snack made with natural ingredients! These homemade gummy fruit snacks were made with fresh cranberry juice and orange juice and naturally sweetened with raw honey.
Cranberries are in season so I thought I would make a batch of healthy gummy fruit snacks for my kids. The cranberry juice was very tart so I sweetened it with orange juice and raw honey. This combo was delicious and pleased my 2 year old son who loves gummy fruit snacks. Both fresh and jared juice will work in this recipe. You may omit the sweetener if you don’t mind the tartness of cranberry juice.

Is the cranberry juice bought in the store or is it homemade, please?
Is that right? Half cup of gelatin? Maybe that’s why people have been having trouble with this setting up too fast. Would love your input!
Thanks for sharing, this was really good

Ooh man, I bombed this recipe.
I got my juicer out, juiced cranberries and orange (separately). Then, followed the directions. I didn’t get my molds filled fast enough before the gelatin set up thick. Let everything chill in the cooler, popped out a cute gummy bear and tossed it in my mouth. It was the most vile thing. They texture was funky and the taste was awful.
I have noooooo idea how I messed it up … But, ugh! Might try with bottled juice instead.
I think I did something wrong. Once I added the orange juice, the mix concealed and became a light rose frothy color. It tastes good-just looks really weird. Wondering what I did wrong?
Hmm I’m afraid I don’t know! I haven’t had that happen before.. 🙁
Same thing happened for me. There’s no way to pour it into molds. I couldn’t even smooth it in a pan. 🙁
Hi great idea, I can’t wait to try these. How do you store them and for how long do they stay?
I am wondering how long these will keep, and if they should be stored in the fridge, or if they will be ok in the cupboard??
Do you have any ideas for thickening salad dressings with gelatin? I’d like to try a sort of creamy italian where I normally would use mayo or sour cream, etc to thicken it.
Hi Tiffany
Love your posts thank you so much for all your great ideas and recipes
Just wanted to say that if you put the juice and gelatin in a heatproof bowl in a saucepan of simmering water – bain marie kind of thing – you don’t have to boil the juice so the Vitamin C content will be higher
