Have you ever played around with your spatula in the kitchen? (Hopefully NOT juggling knives. Let’s leave that to the professionals.)
Ever dreamed of doing all the fancy tricks they do at Hibachi grills?
(My family loves Hibachi. We used to go for birthdays all the time!)
Have a love of Asian cultures and cuisine?
Then this is for you.

We’ll get to the video, which is from a cool Youtube account, here in a moment – but first, if you love pan-Asian cooking, I’ve got a few recipes for you to check out.
Top Asian recipes you can make right now
These are all pretty easy to do, super straightforward, and don’t require a ton of ingredients. If you’re looking to bring some Asian flare to your kitchen, here’s where I’d start:
- Crock pot teriyaki chicken. I’m not sure what screams “Hibachi” more than teriyaki chicken, and this is a great recipe you can easily make at home in your crock pot.
- Salmon vermicelli noodle bowl. This delicious, filling, and nutritious recipe is a great alternative to going out to eat.
- Tom Kha Gai (also known as Thai coconut soup). This delicious, nourishing soup is made with coconut milk, chicken broth, and lots of vegetables. And you can really easily make it at home!
- Pork cabbage wraps. (Also very helpful for Keto – because of course, cabbage doesn’t have all the carbs you’d expect from rice.)
- Homemade sesame oil. Sesame oil is a BIG component in lots of pan-Asian dishes, and what better way to really immerse yourself in the cuisine than by making your own sesame oil?
