Intro

If you’re looking to spice up your In-N-Out dining experience – then have I got some ideas for you.
Secret menus are a great way for restaurants like In-N-Out to reward their most loyal customers for coming back again…and again…and again.
There’s nothing special you need to do when ordering – just ask for each item by name, and the In-N-Out team can make it happen!
The first one is one of my favorites:

#1: The Neapolitan milkshake

What it is: A milkshake with strawberry, chocolate, AND vanilla ice cream all mixed together.
Why it’s awesome: I think you already know the answer – they’re such complementary flavors. Try this one today. (Or if not – at least go get any of the “regular” In-N-Out milkshakes, which are both cheap and delicious!)

#2: Flying Dutchman

What it is: A double double (that is, a double cheeseburger) with all the toppings and the bun stripped away. So it’s just two hamburger patties and two slices of cheese.
Why it’s awesome: It’s a great low-carb option if you still want In-N-Out. Also, there’s a fun tie-in with In-N-Out’s founding family – Guy Snyder, the former president of In-N-Out, was also an avid drag racer. His nickname when he was racing? Flying Dutchman!

#3: Onion wrap

What it is: You get a cheeseburger with two grilled onion slices as the bun – no other toppings.
Why it’s awesome: Again, this is a great low-carb option, plus it’s just kind of fun to get a really different burger with all that delicious onion. Be warned – it’s messy – so I’d recommend having silverware ready!

#4: 4X4

What it is: Four patties, four slices of cheese, full toppings, one burger.
Why it’s awesome: I mean – it’s a heart attack on a bun. Need I say more?

#5: Root beer float

What it is: 50% vanilla milkshake, 50% root beer, 100% awesome.
Why it’s awesome: My one complaint about root beer floats is that they’re usually not very well-mixed. You have chunks of ice cream, you have sips that are all root beer or all melted ice cream, and it can just be a little uneven in general. Milkshake + root beer means you can mix everything perfectly.

#6: Mustard grilled patty

What it is: Same burger as you’re used to, but the cook will spread mustard on one side of the patty while grilling it.
Why it’s awesome: There’s something about mustard and ground beef. And that goes double for when it’s caramelized onto it. Give this a try – you’ll love it.

#7: Grilled cheese

What it is: Full burger with two slices of cheese – and no beef patty. (Standard is cheese, lettuce, tomato, spread, bun.)
Why it’s awesome: This is a great vegetarian option, and grilled cheese in general is just a wonderful comfort food.
