The data is from the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute’s County Health Rankings & Roadmaps.
The 2023 report shows the results of a survey that asked people across the U.S. a simple question:
“How is your general health?”
For our list, we ranked cities by the percentage of people who responded Excellent or Very Good (vs. Good, Fair, or Poor).
