Congratulations, Texas: You’re getting three new Chick-fil-As!
(As if you didn’t already have enough great food options, from Whataburger to Buc-ee’s, HEB to, well, lots of Chick-fil-A locations already open.)
While a chain restaurant expanding can sometimes be controversial…not so with Chick-fil-A, which is already America’s favorite fried chicken by a mile.
And these three are just the tip of the iceberg, as Chick-fil-A has been on a bit of a building spree lately.
The first new Texan Chick-fil-A, in Plainview, opened on April 10th to much fanfare.

The second, just announced by San Juan, will be at the Shops at Chavez, delivering sometime in the coming months.
It’s part of a big corridor of retail development that has recently been an area of local focus.
And the third new Chick-fil-A? Due in southeast Austin by the end of November.
Texas already has the most Chick-fil-As of any state in the country, with over 500 locations slinging its iconic chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, and waffle fries. (Some meals, of course, are healthier than others.)

And let’s face it – it’s a great product that’s beloved across the US already, so more is even better.
