1. Soy Garlic Mushroom Avocado Toast

Mushrooms enhance just about every dish they touch. Avocado toast is no exception! By sauteing some mushrooms in butter, garlic, and soy sauce, they become this burst of umami flavor. Top your avocado toast with this mixture for a meaty, yet vegetarian option! Here’s how to do it:
Ingredients:
4 oz. sliced white mushrooms
1 tablespoon butter
1 clove garlic, minced
a tablespoon of soy sauce
Directions:
Slice your mushrooms. Add the butter to a medium skillet over medium heat.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender. Stir in the garlic and soy sauce.
Cook for 1 additional minute and remove them from the heat.
Top your avocado toast with the mushrooms and enjoy!
2. Caprese Avocado Toast

Caprese consists of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. These ingredients are amazing on their own, but are even better for spicing up avocado toast! Try this method:
Ingredients:
10 cherry tomatoes, halved
15 mini fresh mozzarella pearls
2 basil leaves, torn
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Top your avocado toast with this beautiful salad and enjoy!
3. White Bean Avocado Toast

Beans are the perfect protein for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. Adding beans to your avocado toast gives a slight English vibe, since beans on toast is a popular breakfast across the pond. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients:
¼ cup canned white beans, drained and rinsed
1 teaspoon olive oil
a pinch dried Herbes de Provence
1 pinch salt
Directions:
Warm your beans in a small pan with the olive oil. Once hot, add the herbs and salt.
Remove from the heat and top your avocado toast with the beans. Serve warm.
4. Jammy Egg Avocado Toast

What’s better than a perfectly jammy yolk in a hard-boiled egg? Not much! Spice up your avocado toast with a perfectly cooked egg, every single time. Use this method:
Ingredients:
2 farm-fresh eggs
Water, for boiling
Pinch of salt and black pepper
Directions:
Add 2 cups of water to a small saucepan. Gently lower the eggs into the water without breaking them.
Bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, set your timer for exactly 5 minutes.
Once the timer is up, drain the eggs. Crack the flattest side on a firm surface and place the eggs in a bowl of ice water. Allow them to sit for 1-2 minutes in the cold water.
Peel your eggs carefully. Slice in half and serve each egg on a serving of avocado toast. Top the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Mediterranean Avocado Toast

Olives and feta are a standard in the Mediterranean diet. They also work perfectly on top of avocado toast! Bring some life to your breakfast using this method:
Ingredients:
¼ cup kalamata olives, chopped lightly
3 oz. feta cheese, crumbled
1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
Directions:
Chop your olives and crumble your feta.
Top your avocado toast with both ingredients.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve!
