Intro

If you love In-N-Out and live in one of just eight states… congratulations, because you’ve hit the jackpot!
In-N-Out has long been a California staple – and the majority of its restaurants are still in California. However – it has expanded into seven other states, and I’ve got my fingers crossed that there’s potential for several more in the years to come!
In addition to listing out the states, I’ve ranked them by per capita In-N-Out exposure (number of In-N-Out stores per million residents), and also shared a list of the states that don’t have In-N-Out…yet!
Store data is courtesy of World Population Review, and population data is courtesy of the 2020 US Census.

Let’s face it – everybody needs to try a double double once – or animal style fries for that matter!
