What are coconut freezer bars?
They are a simple dessert made with shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and dark chocolate. The filling is creamy and coconutty, and the dark chocolate adds just the right amount of bitterness and complements the coconut bars. They are similar to store-bought candy but with few ingredients. This recipe can be made vegan and dairy-free with sweetened condensed coconut milk. Just make sure to check the labels on the dark chocolate and coconut condensed milk to make sure they are dairy-free.

About The Ingredients:
- Shredded Coconut: Use unsweetened shredded coconut for this recipe. Sweetened coconut flakes will make these bars too sweet! You can find my favorite brands of shredded coconut here.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk: Use any type of sweetened condensed milk in this recipe. Fat-free, full-fat, or dairy-free will work.
- Dark Chocolate: I love dark chocolate, so that’s what I used, but any other type of chocolate can be used in this recipe.
