FAQ
Can I make this recipe in a food processor?
I’ve made this recipe in both a blender and a food processor, and I suggest only using a blender. Flaxseeds don’t blend well in a food processor and may dull the blades.
Do you need to use the whole seed, or will ground flax seeds work?
Ground flax seeds can be used in place of whole flax seeds.
What can be used in place of coconut oil?
Any oil you like will work in this recipe. If you want to add omega-3’s into your diet, try using flaxseed oil instead of coconut oil!
If you’re looking for more seed butters, try this chia butter made with chia seeds! Chia seeds are another great source of omega-3 fatty acids and are a great addition to your diet.
