Sourcing Your Ingredients
Making your own skincare at home is super beneficial, but some may be deterred due to lack of ingredients. Many ingredients in DIY skincare can be found at traditional supermarkets, but some may be a bit harder to find.
When all else fails, order online! There are tons of websites that sell high quality items like vitamin E oil, tea tree oil, and all-natural aloe vera. Also, health food and vitamin stores often carry these items in-store, in case you are more of an in-person shopper.
Benefits of Green Tea
Green tea contains plant-based antioxidants and anti-inflammatories which can help prevent cell damage and promote cell turnover. It also contains caffeine, perfect for waking up your skin in the morning! Also, the effects of reducing inflammation may help with anti-aging benefits as well!
