The economic downturn has even come for Texas.
Fresh off a string of painful factory closures, Texas is unfortunately facing even more incoming bad news.

More specifically, Condair Group recently announced plans to shutter their production facility in Center, Texas – with 51 jobs eliminated.
Condair’s cold storage and dehumidification capabilities are critical to broader food chain logistics, so this move could be an additional complication for companies transporting food through Texas.
Condair plans to transfer operations to a new facility in Richmond, Virginia later this year and then close its Texas factory in 2026, so with any luck there shouldn’t be any major production hiccups.
My heart goes out to the impacted workers – who did nothing but show up, work hard, and live in the wrong place at the wrong time.
