Chocolate Strawberry Coconut Bars

When you think of Valentine’s Day, there’s no combination as classic as chocolate and strawberries. These chocolate strawberry coconut bars use freeze-dried strawberries instead of fresh berries for a satisfying crunch, paired with only one other ingredient – chocolate coconut butter!
These chocolate strawberry coconut bars are vegan-friendly and only take a few minutes to prep, and then you just pop them in the freezer. Bonus points if you have heart-shaped silicone molds, but they’ll be a hit no matter what shape they’re in.
Chocolate-Covered Marshmallow Hearts

If you like s’mores and Peeps or are just a marshmallow fan at heart, you’ll love these chocolate-covered marshmallow hearts. You’ll make homemade marshmallow creme hearts (don’t worry, we’ll guide you each step of the way) and coat them in chocolate for an airy and decadent Valentine’s Day treat.
Heads up – give yourself a few hours for this recipe since the marshmallow creme needs at least 4-6 hours to set. We recommend making these the night before and not waiting until the last minute because nothing ruins a relaxing Valentine’s Day evening like being in a rush!
Coconut Oil Chocolate Hearts

Many types of store-bought chocolate contain artificial flavors and ingredients that you might be trying to avoid, like soy on special diets like Paleo. These homemade coconut oil chocolate hearts are a healthier version free of artificial flavors and emulsifiers and only include the ingredients necessary for delicious chocolate.
You’re free to use the sweetener of your choice for this chocolate, whether it’s vegan-friendly maple syrup, honey, or your other favorite sweetener. You’ll get around 40 pieces to enjoy with your loved ones, or have them all to yourself (no judgment here)!
Chocolate Truffles (Dairy-Free)

Chocolate truffles are melt-in-your-mouth heaven. What is a truffle, exactly? A chocolate truffle has a ganache center (a delicious mixture of cream and chocolate) and is dusted in cocoa powder.
This recipe for chocolate truffles is dairy-free and vegan-friendly (just make sure the chocolate you choose doesn’t contain milk!) and comes together quickly in terms of prep time. The most time required for these delicious truffles is the setting time, so make sure you make them at least four hours before you plan to enjoy them.
Coconut Flour Angel Food Cake (no chocolate)

Chocolate is the most popular Valentine’s Day treat, so you’ve probably noticed all of the recipes thus far have been chocolatey. If you’re not a fan of chocolate, this angel food cake is for you!
While it’s not vegan-friendly because of the egg whites, this angel food cake is gluten-free because it uses coconut flour (one of our favorite types of flour, if you haven’t noticed). If you’re on a low-carb or keto diet you can substitute an alternative sweetener like erythritol instead of regular sugar. If you use erythritol, this angel food cake has less than two grams of net carbs per serving, which is a keto-version of SWEET!
