My keto chocolate mousse recipe is delicious, full of healthy fats, and is sweetened with monk fruit, a zero-calorie sweetener with a glycemic index of zero.

Following a keto diet has helped me tremendously in many ways. One thing in particular, is my sweet tooth has almost completely diminished!
When I started eating keto I thought that I’d need to treat myself to a lot of keto-friendly desserts to keep my sweet tooth satisfied. Fortunate for me, that was not the case! I only recently started added a keto-friendly dessert to my menu for fun for my kids. They love treats and I love to create healthier versions of their favorite foods.

Now let’s get to the recipe! This keto chocolate mousse dessert is smooth, creamy and luxurious. I tastes like chocolate heaven.
Best of all, it doesn’t have any sugar in it. I used monk fruit to sweeten this treat. Monk fruit is similar to stevia with a glycemic index of zero. But unlike stevia, it doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste. I’ve also used swerve and erythritol successfully. Enjoy!

Checking further…looks like I need to chill cream and bowl and beaters. I do this with heavy cream….should have known! ?
I cannot get my coconut cream to whip. Yes it is the 5.4 oz (just cream). What am I doing wrong?
I tried a hand mixer..full speed and my kitchenaid stand mixer, full speed.
Cocoa is sooo processed ,so sweetened why would you..
Use raw Cacao powder .
Sweetener; any sweetener , there are many good ones , your looking for flavour that’s th whole point . Use Coconut Nectar th best..try Date syrup , Agave low glycemic but you’re only using a little so that’s not really th issue…
Needs Vanilla ,and a couple of drops of Orange Oil is next level.
Cheers.?
Cocoa is not sweetened. Please visit the link to the cocoa powder. It’s organic unsweetened powder. Also, agave and coconut nectar are not keto friendly sweeteners.
No need to be so contentious. Make the changes you wish and suggest them too if you wish. Someone is sharing what they liked and thought others might as well. Try whatever sweeteners you want. And, FYI, Cocoa powder is not sweetened. You are probably thinking of it’s counterpart, Chocolate Milk, 😂
I checked your link for the monk fruit sweetener via amazon – 26% of the reviews said that particular brand had changed its manufacturing process and it now smells and tastes terrible – most recent review I saw was March 2018 -and it’s non refundable – I’m not willing to take a chance with a product that is expensive. Have you tried a different brand?
Thank you for letting me know! I have had my container for over a year and it tastes great. I’ll contact the company and see what I can find out.
