When you combine vanilla with cold espresso and top it with foam, well, that’s kind of the perfect afternoon pick me up. Or a morning delight. Or the perfect drink to sip on under the stars while stargazing.
I mean, that’s some versatility!
The floral and sweet aroma of vanilla pairs perfectly with the heady espresso to create a pairing that is out of this world.
And then when it’s married with ice in a chilly glass – well – we’re talking the perfect summer treat! (Note: I don’t want to put this iced blonde latte into a box marked “summer.” How many people love iced coffee in the winter? A lot. Sometimes I’ve been known to crave iced coffee in December and lemonade in January! Drinks don’t check rote boxes, they want to live free in your heart all year long.)
Do I have to use 2% milk?
That’s what Starbucks uses, so if you want to be a traditionalist that’s what you’re going to want to grab. But, it’s also good to play around with flavors! So, if you’d like a double kiss of vanilla, you could froth vanilla almond milk. Or oat milk. Or whole milk. There’s a dairy case of possibilities available to you!
