You won’t believe this almond butter banana ice cream is made with just 2 ingredients and no ice cream maker! All you need is a blender or food processor.

Technically…. this isn’t real ice cream. It’s what some call “Nice Cream”. There’s no cream, dairy or any type of milk in this ice cream. It made with just two ingredients.
Almond butter and bananas.
Yep, that’s it!
This ice cream is smooth, creamy and super good! If you like to spruce up your ice cream with goodies you can pour some of my homemade magic hard shell sauce and toasted coconut flakes over the top. That’s what I did and it hit the spot!

Almond Butter Banana Ice Cream – No Ice Cream Maker Needed!
- Yield: 4 cups 1x
Ingredients

- Next you’ll want to grease a bread loaf pan with coconut oil.
- Pour the almond butter banana ice cream into the greased pan and place it in the freezer for 1-2 hours.

Thanks for this recipe – a great alternative to ice cream. Combining the bananas with other nut butters could go well too – lots of possibilities.
I was wondering if you could add a cup of coconut milk to this ice cream recipe to make it creamier?
What do you think?
Hi Tiffany, I am very grateful to be on your email listing for some of your fantastic recipes. Being an avid consumer and virtues extoller of coconut use, I found “home” in your ethos and recommendations. I have a little problem however, with the printing of your downloaded free ebook. My printer does not seem to recognise the fonts used, and now I have pages of semiword junk. Any ideas?
hmmm – while I wait to hear from you, I think trialling the almond butter icecream is the way to go.
regards
Willow
I’ve made this before but I’ve never frozen it again in the loaf pan. What an awesome idea! My babies would go nuts for this. 🙂
