There are several essential oils to use daily. I pull peppermint out when I have sore muscles, lavender for relaxation and Frankincense for my skin – Frankincense is amazing for the skin, but more on that later!
When I started using essential oils 4 years ago I had no idea how much they could change my life – and believe me, I was a skeptic when I was first introduced to them. Who knew a sniff of this or a rub of that help to improve my family’s health or wellbeing! Essential oils have personally helped me balance my mood, support my emotional well-being and help me to relax and sleep better.
One of the reasons I started using essential oils was because I wanted to make my own natural cleaning products. Over the past 4 years, I’ve learned how to use essential oils to make safe, non-toxic cleaners and personal care products for my family.
I share my recipes for free on my site and I also offer my ebook, DIY Bath & Beauty Recipes for free so that you too can learn how easy it is to make everyday personal care products without exposing yourself to potentially dangerous ingredients.

3 Essential Oils To Use Daily
There are over 100 essential oil blends and singles that all have different uses. I want to share 3 of the most popular oils on the market and why I think they’re essentials oils to use daily.
#1 Lavender
Lavender essential oil is very calming and balancing. I diffuse lavender in the evenings when my family and I are unwinding and getting ready for bed. I also make a calming magnesium rub with lavender. I rub this on my feet at night before bed to help me relax and fall asleep.
There are lots of different brands of lavender essential oils – here’s one of my favorites.
# 2 Peppermint
Peppermint essential oil is energizing! I diffuser peppermint in the morning when we’re getting ready for the day and when I work out. Peppermint is very cooling to the skin, making it a great oil to use on sore muscles (always diluted!). I rube a coconut oil with a drop or two of peppermint over muscles after I work out.
Here’s a great brand to buy from.
#3 Frankincense
This essential oil is mentioned in one of the oldest known medical books, dating back to the 16th century. It was one of the most prized oils in Biblical times and still is today. Frankincense is known for rejuvenating and supporting healthy aging skin. I use it in my homemade beauty serum and whipped body butter. I love the way my skin looks and feels when I nourish it with Frankincense!
