This homemade peach juice recipe is tasty and can be enjoyed as is or added to smoothies or iced tea!

It’s peach season, and peach juice is a tasty summer drink. I enjoy homemade peach tea made with a mixture of sun tea and peach juice, and it’s delicious! If you have fresh peaches available, give this recipe a try!
Fresh Peach Juice Recipe
For this recipe, you will need 5-8 fresh peaches and 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice. The lemon juice helps preserve the peach juice. You will also need jars like mason jars to store the fresh juice.
Rinse the peaches and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Chop the peaches into small chunks and place in a bowl.
Prepare your juicer and place the peach pieces into the chute. Continue to add the peaches through the juicer until they’re gone. Pour the fresh peach nectar into clean, prepared jars and top with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Cover the jars tightly with lids and refrigerate for 2-3 days.

Blender Recipe
You can also make peach juice in a blender with the addition of water.
Chop the peaches into small pieces and place them into a high-speed blender. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and blend on high. Once the peaches are blended, pour them through a strainer, fine-mesh sieve, or nut milk bag. Squeeze the bag to remove all the peach juice.
Pour the fresh juice into prepared jars and refrigerate for 2-3 days. You can also preserve the juice by freezing it in ice cube trays.

FAQ
How long does the peach juice last in the refrigerator?
Fresh peach juice can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. Make sure to keep it tightly sealed in a jar or container to maintain its freshness.
Can I omit the lemon juice from the recipe?
Lemon juice helps to preserve the peach juice and adds a slightly tangy flavor. While it’s recommended for optimal freshness, you can omit it if you prefer.
Can I sweeten the peach juice?
If you prefer sweeter juice, you can add a sweetener of your choice, such as honey, sugar, or agave syrup, to taste.
Is there a way to make the peach juice smoother?
If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag after blending to remove any pulp or fibers.
Can I use this peach juice in cooking or baking?
Absolutely! Peach juice can add a wonderful flavor to sauces, marinades, desserts, and baked goods.
How can I make peach juice without a juicer or blender?
If you don’t have a juicer or blender, you can mash the chopped peaches with a fork or potato masher, then strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to extract the juice.
Can I freeze the peach juice for longer storage?
Yes! You can freeze peach juice in ice cube trays and transfer the frozen cubes to a freezer-safe container. This allows you to enjoy peach juice beyond its refrigerated shelf life.
What juicer do you use?
I have a few juicers that I use for different types of juices. I have a nama juicer (in the picture and videos). For celery juice and green juice, I use masticating  juicer like the omega juicer because it produces more juice without heat.
What’s the best high-power blender to use?
I personally use a vitamix blender. I’ve had mine for over a decade and it has never let me down.
