Air fryer recipes are all the rage these days and for a good reason. You can create a healthier version of your favorite foods without all the oil!
I use my air fryer often in the summer since it cooks food quickly without heating my kitchen. I also love how I can make food super crispy with it! Since I’ve had an abundance of zucchinis lately, so I’ve been using them in all possible ways. First, I made zucchini bread and zucchini pasta, and now I’ve added a new recipe to my mix; Zucchini Fries!

Air fryer zucchini fries ingredients
First, obviously, you’ll need an air fryer. If you don’t have one, check out this recommended air fryer (along with some other great keto gifts).
The ingredients for this are mostly simple and easy. You’ll need:
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup coconut flour (good quality matters here – make sure you get the best coconut flour you can find)
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dry Italian seasoning
- salt and black pepper
- Oil for spraying (optional)
How To Make Air Fryer Zucchini Fries
For this recipe you will need 2 medium zucchinis, coconut flour, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, eggs, salt and pepper.
First Step: Prep the zucchini by cutting it into french fry length wedges. Spread the zucchini slices on a single layer of paper towel and pat dry.
Then, in a small bowl mix all the dry ingredients together and set aside. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and set them aside.
Take the dry zucchini slices and drench them in the egg wash. Then place them into the dry flour mixture and place on a baking sheet or air fryer basket.
Repeat the process until all the zucchini french fries are all coated with the dry ingredients. If you have a healthy cooking spray like avocado oil or coconut oil then you can spray the zucchini fries lightly with the spray. The light coating of oil with help make crispy zucchini fries, but I made them without the cooking spray and they turned out pretty crispy regardless.
Place the zucchini fries in the air fryer and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. Serve immediately with ranch dressing, fry sauce, or your favorite dipping sauces.

Never new about air fryers – thanks. I am scraping out fresh coconut with my manual Asian wooden board with sharp scraper blade built on to one end of it. i can now look to air dry the coconut and turn into flour when I grind it. What I don’t scrape out goes to the chooks to scratch out with their beaks. love using your recipes and getting your updates all the way in far north Queensland – down under! Kate
