Orange coconut creamsicles are the perfect dairy-free creamsicle made with orange juice, coconut milk, honey, and vanilla. These popsicles are paleo-friendly and delicious!
Creamsicles have always been one of my favorite popsicles. With a creaming filling and lovely orange flavor, they’re the perfect summer treat!
However, this recipe is made a bit healthier, made with fresh orange juice, coconut cream, natural sweetener, and a splash of vanilla. These popsicles are so good, not overly sweet. I’ve added a scoop of collagen powder to add gut-supporting protein.
HOW TO MAKE ORANGE COCONUT CREAMSICLES
For this recipe, you’ll need two cups of orange juice, orange zest, one can of full-fat coconut milk, raw honey (or sweetener of choice), vanilla extract, and (optional) collagen powder. Fresh orange juice will make a world of difference in flavor, but bottled juice will work too.
Step 1
Pour the orange juice, orange zest, 1 cup of coconut milk, vanilla extract, and honey into a blender. Blend on high until the ingredients are mixed well. Add in the collagen powder if using, and blend again to incorporate.
Step 2
Then fill the popsicle molds with the orange coconut creamsicle mixture.
Step 3
Pour remaining coconut milk at the top of the molds. Secure with the lids and sticks.
Step 4
Freeze for 4-6 hours, or until the popsicles are completely frozen.

These are amazing!! This recipe tastes like the orange creamsicle I used to eat full of yucky ingredients. But I got way more than 6 popsicles! I got 10 and still had some leftover. So I put the rest in ice cube trays to enjoy in a cocktail for another day. Thank you!!

Is the collagen powder essential for recipe or just as a binding agent?

It’s optional to add protein. You can leave it out. 🙂
