Do you want your kitchen to smell like heaven while you make a coffee drink? Would you want a coffee drink that will transform your day from “meh,” to “hoo boy!” Do you want your neighbors to notice the enticing aromas emanating from your stovetop and come knocking on the door?
Well, if you love your neighbors, that would probably be pretty delightful. If you don’t know them well, now’s the chance to make that happen while you’re simmering these two flavorful simple syrups together.
Because, today is the day that you’re going to make a Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato.
And you’re going to love it!
Can I make this ahead of time?
You could make it ahead of time, but the foam might lose its texture. But, you can make the syrup ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator for up to a week. And even better? You can freeze the syrup in an ice cube tray, and just pull out the amount you need for this delicious drink! Just reheat the syrup cubes in the microwave, or in a small pan.
Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato Tips:
The best vehicle for some really sturdy foam is skim milk or plain milk. Either of those milks will give your foam the lift that you’re looking for. Of course, many people LOVE this with oat milk instead of cow milk. Also, if at all possible, use freshly grated nutmeg. It really brings some added flavor to the macchiato party!
